The Last Light feature remembers the previous beam setting when the light is switched on. This headlamp has 5 selectable light modes: wide angle high or low, long distance high, wide angle plus long distance, or green. The Night Gig Elite can either run on a USB rechargeable lithium ion battery pack or three standard AAA batteries (both included). The Night Gig Elite comes with USB charging cable, lithium ion battery pack, and three standard AAA batteries.
